Christmas and New Year Gift
What a way to celebrate Christmas Day this year in India too.
I was thinking to plan a visit to India last year to see how do they celebrate Christmas there.I reached Mumbai on 23rd Dec .On reaching there itself I saw big hoardings through out the city for tracking the Santa in Mumbai and when Santa is going to give gifts (Santa Gifts to Kids)to the kids.Picture of large Christmas Rum Cakes and Artificial Christmas Trees outside big hotels were easily seen .Inside their lounges Christmas Decorations were almost complete.
I could see pre lit large Christmas Tree as big as 12 ft Christmas Tree to 5-6 ft (feet) Christmas Tree outside Hotels and guest houses .At some places outside Best Christmas Gift Stores I saw 7 ft Christmas Pine Tree which is rare to see at our places too .
When I checked in the hotel on Santa Cruz ,I was surprised to see my room very nicely decorated with Christmas bells ,Santa Toys , Christmas Wreaths and 1 ft Christmas Tree.Even outside every lounge Predecorated and prelit 4 ft Christmas tree were nicely placed at the corner along with Santa Socks .
It was really a fantastic site to see.
Christmas Tree shops and even the establishments like Banks and Shopping Malls were decorated as beautifully as we do in London.
India is really going in a big way to become Celebration place for all communities and religions.
